What is the desire for figure things out - like dates, history, and timelines? We act as if it paints a picture of who we are.

I was recently having dinner with someone I barely know and I launched into my stories with gusto. Why? So he can know me. But just hearing those stories, he still doesn't me, not the important stuff anyway.

He doesn't know my passion for this path and the wonder with which I choose to experience life. He heard of some of the things I overcame but not the joys, the creativity, and the love in my life.

I am reminded of the poem The Invitation, that I read so many years ago.

What if we asked real questions & spoke to each other souls? What would our lives and relationships be like then? What if we intentionally interacted with one another as the Divine Beings We Are instead of these judgmental, petty, & self-centered busy bodies we can act like.

We are One Energy and One Life. We are so much more than we give ourselves credit for and allow ourselves to experience most of the time.

What if we allowed more genuine connection with Life and each other?
